So I took the theme for November from the many Harlequin books I have on my NOOK. Since these tend to be shorter books, I feel I can get them done.

From the (now defunct) Kiss line: The Wedding Dress Diaries and Waking Up Married

I basically downloaded these two books because they were free. I am not one for wedding shows (such as Say Yes to the Dress! on TLC or any Kardashian TV wedding event) or even weddings - hubby and I did the courthouse thing and paid extra to have an office worker be our witness.

From the Love Inspired Suspense line: Safe by the Marshal's Side

It has been 10 years since I have last read a romantic suspense story. Free e-book so I figure I could dip my toes in again and see if I still like the genre.

From the Love Inspired Historical line: The Law and Miss Mary, Hearts in Flight, Hearts Rekindled, Hearts in Hiding, and Sanctuary for a Lady.

I picked up these books since they were from time periods that did not require a duke, rogue, rake, earl, etc. Miss Mary deals with a Jane Adams-ish female MC that goes toe to toe with the town sheriff - total catnip right there. Flight, Rekindled, and Hiding I picked up because Sunita at DA reviewed one of the books and I like the review enough to pick up the entire set (I think she gave her review a low B). Sanctuary deals with the French Revolution - enough said; I think I broke the buy now button I hit it so hard.

From the Harlequin Historical line: Never Forget Me

I picked up this anthology (three stories, same author) because it will be my Remembrance Day (UK; Sunday 9 November)/Veteran's Day (US; Tuesday 11 November) reading. All three stories take place during WWI. I have such high expectations of this one. Only print book (it was cheaper than the e-book). It came out in August 2014, the 100th anniversary of the start of the Great War.

From the Harlequin Presents line: Hajar's Hidden Legacy

I am not one for Sheikhs, but I have read/heard good things about this author and the book was free. I started reading it while in long line at the commissary (military name for grocery store - cause I am an idiot and went grocery shopping on payday).
