...but the four March sisters are at times either too damn bratty or sickly sweet. I haven't connected with any character and I am on the seventh chapter/short story/whatever system this book is set up as. Also it is annotated, which is why the page count is bloated (in addition to the 90 pages of fluff at the beginning of the book). It is very easy to read and I don't need the footnotes at all, but it is painfully boring to me. I am going to try and get through part one of the book, then take a couple of days break before trying to get through part two. I really don't want to DNF any classic.
