This novella is Amelia and Brad's story. There was balance between the two MCs, which made the story balanced (unlike story one and two which was often more about one MC). The copy editing still needs work, but wasn't as bad as it was in book two. Brad's character grew a lot from the second book and it was nice to see his friendship with Will stay intact despite Brad's journey in coming to terms with his injury. The subject of physical child abuse and domestic violence is raised, but through memories so no graphic depictions.
Onto the fourth book, which will be my last of this series although there is one more. I am not willing to shell out $6.99 for a self-published paperback novella.
