I read a couple of chapters, then had to look back at the cover to make sure this was a Milan book. This book dealt with two MCs from the working class, which made me interested in this story; since it was book one in a trilogy and written by Milan, I decided to pick up the other books. That will teach me; from now on, one book at a time in a series.
The story made me physically cringe with embarrassment at several points. It was also deeply depressing story. The appearance of the MC of the next book made me even more eager to avoid reading book two. I am sorely tempted to delete book two and three and not read them.
