Macaron Murder (with Recipes) (A Patisserie Mystery) - Harper Lin

A very boring mystery. Characters were okay except for MC - she felt a little stereotypical of young French businesswoman/arty person. Paris was described with touristy sentiments. I read the story (all of 80 pages) to see the reveal of the murderer, but that moment was so lackluster. I do not see myself going on to the next book in the series (so far 4 books in series); thankfully, this was a NOOK freebie. 1 star.
