Review
The heroine was a brat, both in the childhood flashbacks and in the present time. For a short story, it dragged too much to get any chemistry started with the hero. It was a bit of a break from the typical Regency in plot and setting (an island in the English Channel), but it lacked the feeling of Christmas and any real feelings between the couple. I won't be continuing with the series.
